Weigh in on future affordable housing priority applicant policy
Placer County is seeking community feedback on a potential Affordable Housing Priority Applicant Policy countywide. Staff hosted a pair of meetings in North Lake Tahoe on Sept. 30 and Oct. 2 in Auburn to discuss the potential policy and answer questions from participants.

Many jurisdictions throughout California are implementing similar tenant preference policies to help prioritize certain applicant groups for affordable housing to ensure local housing needs are met. Preferences could include local workers, current residents, individuals at risk of housing instability or other criteria.
